Training Workshop on Scaling Deep Learning Models

Online JSC

The Jülich Supercomputing Center (JSC) has announced a professional three-day online training course designed to empower researchers and developers in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Scheduled for 8–10 September 2026, the workshop aims to provide participants with the essential technical foundations required to deploy and scale their deep learning applications on world-class supercomputing infrastructure.

This highly tailored program focuses on optimizing workflows and ensuring a seamless transition from local development environments to high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. Participants will receive expert guidance on a comprehensive range of critical operational topics. JSC team will guide them through questions like:

  • How do I get access to the JSC machines?

  • How do I use the pre-installed, optimized software?

  • How can I run my own code?

  • How can I store data so I can access it fast in training?

  • How can I parallelize my training and use more than one GPU?

  • How can I profile AI code to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency?

  • How can I evaluate whether my code can scale beyond a single node?
